Do you want to feel the ADRENALINE RUSH! Then go for the challenge of RAPID ACTION KAYAKING & RAFTING, in the cool blue waters of Dimna Lake at Jamshedpur. This is a wonderful opportunity to discover the potential within you and that of your team.

Departments of Tata Steel & other Companies can also use this programme for promoting team work & spirit of enterprise among its employees.

TSAF will make the necessary arrangements for organising this exclusive event, which among other things will involve:

  1. arrangement of transport to & fro Dimna from JRD Tata Sports Complex
  2. providing expensive equipment for the competition, i.e., Rubber Raft (costing Rs. 1 lakh each) & Kayak (costing Rs. 25,000 each)
  3. providing prizes to the winners
  4. prize distribution ceremony
  5. "Letter Certificate" certifying participation
  6. Hot lunch

Guidelines for Participation & Other Details

Rafting : 7 persons will form a team. Both Male & Female team can participate. Competition for Male & Female will be held separately.
Kayaking : Male & Female can participate individually. Competition fo Male & Female will be held separately.
Nominal Fee : Contact us for fee details. You can participate in the RAFTING Competition. ONLY THOSE KNOWING KAYAKING CAN REGISTER.
Hot Lunch : Hot vegetarian lunch will be provided at Dimna.
Equipment : Expensive rafting & Kayaking equipment will be provided by TSAF.
Certificate : Letter certifying participation will be given by TSAF, after the event.
Transport : Bus will be arranged at JRD Tata Sports Complex by TSAF at 6 am & for bringing back participants from Dimna.
Programme Timing : Rafting & Kayaking competition will be held as follows:
Rafting Competition : 8 a.m. to 11 a.m.
Kayaking Competition : 11 a.m. to 2.30 p.m.
Lunch Break : 1 p.m. to 2.30 p.m.
Prize Distribution : An informal ceremony will be held from 2:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. In rafting, prizes will be given to the winner & runners up teams. In kayaking, individuals coming 1st, 2nd and 3rd will get the prizes.
Cleaning & Windup : 4 to 5 p.m. at Dimna Lake competition point, by all participants.
Dispersal : 5 p.m. from Dimna Lake competition point, all participants to help out in loading equipment.
The event will be held if we have minimum participation of 7 teams for men, 5 teams for women in rafting and 10 individuals (men & women respectively) in kayaking.
