CONTRACT COURSES

TSAF offers specific tailored courses for individual client groups. Its strength is in its experienced staff and their ability to answer to every requirement of a wide variety of teams over the past several years. TSAF has in consultation with its clients, achieved considerable success in meeting their specific aims. Contract courses are conducted at Jamshedpur as well as in the Himalayas from the Foundation's Base Camps.

IS ADVENTURE UNLIMITED?

"I am there! Take in the slack! That's me! Check the belay! OK! I am climbing! Climb on!" This is the language used in the wilderness between climbers roped up to one another, negotiating a steep rock or mountain face. This climbing sequence sums up important management development lessons Tata Steel Adventure Foundation style, viz leadership, team building, decision making, communication, trust and co-operation. While hanging in the air thousands of feet above the ground, away from the corporate world.

The climb to success is no longer an individual feat. We must learn to face the steep challenges as a group to succeed or we learn to fail separately. Our success depends on building team work not only within departments but across the organization.

TSAF over the years has acted as a perfect catalyst in bringing adventure to the doorstep at low cost or no cost to the employees of Tata Steel and several other organizations. TSAF's multidisciplinary approach has opened the door for outward bound activity for everyone - in water, air and land. Annual events have been introduced for initiating employees and their families to the outdoors viz Hill Walking and Mountain Biking, Parasailing and River Rafting.

Trekking has now become a passion for most of us and part of our daily thinking process. This renews our energy. By giving more exposure to nature, the outlook to life changes, as it helps in developing personality, teamwork & leadership abilities, which in turn makes us more creative, constructive and confident in our places of work - inspiring the will to work & the will to win.
