Himalayan Trekking Programme (10 days/ 12 days)

This programme is specially designed for those in Industry, business or technical functions in an organisation and are desirous of taking a break from their daily routine. Aimed at systematically extending the mental, emotional as well as physical tolerance limits in individuals, it promotes appreciation for others, for group effort as a functional necessity and to realise the impact of individual behavioral patterns on individual attitudes, to improve accordingly.

Of tremendous relevance to organisations is the structured method of this programme, which aims to sharpen the problem solving and decision making abilities of individual participants and the high level of loyalty and enthusiasm it generates, which in turn will help increase employee productivity. It will allow employees to get to know, understand and appreciate each other outside their work roles for building long lasting relationship, emphasizing either we work as a team or fail separately. No previous experience required. A ¾ km jog or brisk walk for six weeks prior to commencement of the programme is advisable.

Specific Information for the participants

Read about the First Trans-Himalayan Journey of Indian women . . .

It not only brings out fellow feelings amongst the participants of the group, but also fosters fraternity & camaraderie, cutting across age, levels & positions, which is so very healthy for any organization. Himalayan Trek calls for will power & generates confidence. I have also come to realize that happiness depends entirely on the state of mind & has little to do with the luxuries that money can buy.
